Activities
There are two underlying principles that are foundational to any activities that Forty West Ministries is involved in: relational and spiritual. Through the building of relationships with people, we have the ability to share with them our faith in Christ and offer a more lasting solution to the circumstances in which they find themselves.
The majority of our work is with children and therefore includes activities that they find enjoyable; such as playing different sports, outings to various parks and lakes, lunch and dinner outings, discipleship and lots of one-on-one attention. We do have contact with their parents but to a limited extent, as well as contact with many of the senior citizens in the various low-income areas. Much of our time is spent building relationships and simply talking with those who need companionship and a listening ear.
